This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your data when you use the Swift Give app (the “App”) to make donations to nonprofit organizations (“Organizations”). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We collect two types of information when you use the App:

A. Personal Information You Provide: When you make a donation, we may collect the following information:

  • Donor Information: Name, email address, phone number, billing address, and payment method details (e.g., credit card number).
  • Transaction Information: Donation amount, date, and transaction ID.

B. Automatically Collected Information: When you use the App, we may collect certain information automatically, including:

  • Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the App, including but not limited to, IP address, device type, operating system, browser type, and usage patterns.
  • Location Data: Your location information, if you enable location tracking in the app.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, improve, and personalize our services. Specifically, we use your data for the following purposes:

  • Processing Donations: To complete and manage your donation, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
  • Communication: To send you receipts, donation confirmations, and other relevant communications about your transaction or changes to our services.
  • Customer Support: To respond to your inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and offer support.
  • Improving Services: To analyze how the App is used and make improvements to the functionality and user experience.

  • Nonprofit Organizations: We may share your donation details (including name and donation amount) with the nonprofit organizations you donate to, but we will never share your payment information with them.
  • Service Providers: We may share your information with third-party service providers who assist us with payment processing, data storage, customer support, and analytics. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if required by law, such as in response to a subpoena, court order, or government request.

4. Security of Your Information

The Swift Give app is not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we will notify you via the App or by email.
